چکیده

Blankets are a difficult problem for fusion engineering design. Because of the complex flow channels, design, production, processing, and accident maintenance blankets all huge challenges traditional water/gas-cooled blankets. bridge heat transfer tritium production. A high-performance blanket with simplified structure is obviously beneficial engineering, safety, economy. In this study, gravity pipes instead coolant channels adopted to remove heat. Compared coolant-cooled systems, may be simpler more reliable. The in-vessel in-box loss (LOCA) will not occur because there no in blanket. Moreover, damaged pipe replaced easily compared water-cooled hypothetical pipe-cooled China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor (CFETR) was proposed one module analyzed by numerical simulation. results were those blanket, temperature distribution uniform. This study verified preliminary feasibility provided fresh idea

Closed Form Equations for the Preliminary Design of a Heat-Pipe-Cooled Leading Edge

A set of closed form equations for the preliminary evaluation and design of a heatpipe-cooled leading edge is presented. The set of equations can provide a leading-edge designer with a quick evaluation of the feasibility of using heat-pipe cooling. The heat pipes can be embedded in a metallic or composite structure. The maximum heat flux, total integrated heat load, and thermal properties of th...

Analyses of Heat - Pipe Cooled Isothermal Journal Bearings

Isothermal journal bearings have been developed by incorporating heat-pipe cooling. The heat pipe assists in spreading heat rapidly along the bearing circumference, resulting in a very small temperature gradient, low peak temperature, and stable transient thermal behavior. This paper presents a model for the isothermal journal bearings and the results of analyses. The heat pipe in the isotherma...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

A Double Pipe Heat Exchanger Design and Optimization for Cooling an Alkaline Fuel Cell System

In the presented research, heat transfer of a mobile electrolyte alkaline fuel cell (AFC) (which the electrolyte has cooling role of system) has been considered. Proper control volumes of system with specific qualification have been chosen. Consequently, heat and mass transfer in control volumes have been assessed. Considerations on them and contributed models lead to approve a double tube heat...

Heat Flow through a Thin Cooled Pipe Filled with a Micropolar Fluid

In this paper, a non-isothermal flow of a micropolar fluid in a thin pipe with circular cross-section is considered. The fluid in the pipe is cooled by the exterior medium and the heat exchange on the lateral part of the boundary is described by Newton’s cooling condition. Assuming that the hydrodynamic part of the system is provided, we seek for the micropolar effects on the heat flow using th...
